The New Zealand Virtual Herbarium
The New Zealand Virtual Herbarium (NZVH) is a collaborative Network project that aims to provide on-line access to the information managed by herbaria in New Zealand.
To access the website, click on the following link: www.virtualherbarium.org.nz
It provides access to data from over 600,000 specimen records. Users can search and download these data, or view the records as a distribution map.
This phase of the NZVH is being implemented using software developed for the Australian Virtual Herbarium and made available by the Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria. It is being implemented using funding from the Terrestrial and Freshwater Biodiversity Information Facility (TFBIS).
